How to Earn Money Online?

This is a question that most of us wonder, How to earn money online?

I have the reply but those who feel that they can get rich overnight may feel disheartened. To clear, we don't have a magical trick or a miracle technique to make someone rich overnight.

I am sure that the few that clicked the link hoping for the same would have clicked this off by now. But those who are realistic and wants to know what best can be made online should read the blog in it's entirety.

To begin with how to earn and how much you can earn depends totally on your skills and always remember that - Just like our World, there is no concept of Easy Pickings or Easy Money in Virtual World too.

There are multiple avenues on internet that allows money making. But the quantum of money generated will depend on few factors like-

A. Skill-set & Time involved

B. Market Demand

Now to elaborate, the skill-I further divide the nature of job as-

A. Skill-set and Time involved

1.  High skills- There are web hosts that allows interactions of skilled freelancers with the market. Skills can range from domain experts with degrees to perform a specialists task. Paid2work ought to be one of the site that serves as interface between freelancers and job recruiters. It may involve time devotion to an extent. The high skilled jobs may include-

a. Professional Freelancing

b. Market research or Project back ups

c. Online marketing campaigns

d. Online tutoring

2. Low skills- There are multiple websites that provides money on

a. Clicking on an advertisement

b.Filling surveys for the company.

c. Referrals

These jobs does not include much skills. But as the skill involved is low returns are low too.
I refrain myself from naming any website in this zone as there are many fraud websites and
WORD OF WISDOM & CAUTION IS TO AVOID WEBSITES THAT CHARGES MONEY FOR REGISTRATION.

B. Market Demand

Internet has emerged as the biggest source of marketing. There are multiple avenues that can yield some money for you.

How to make money in this Domain?

Write a Blog- If you love writing and want people to read, you can opt for this. There are multiple websites that allow placing advertisements on your Blog. Google is the leader with Google Adsense. However, there are few limitations on this and revenue generations are also not that high. Blogger, Wordpress etc offers you space for blogging.

Become an Affiliate- Affiliate marketing is being associated with one or more online stores. Any traffic diverted from your page would earn you a royalty. However, the conversion rates are low and not easy to sell someone else's product.

Sell domain name- Worldwide web is growing but unfortunately domain names are not. So, the one who owns a domain name can sell it to the one who wants that at higher rates. However, gestation times may be higher and expert judgement is required to select names.

Youtube- If you can make videos than this will attract you. Monetizing program of Youtube would let you make some bucks. I repeat some bucks, the returns are like $2-4 for 1000 views. So, you have to be extremely popular to attract eyeballs to actually make money.

It is good idea to earn money online but I would like to caution my friends thinking on these lines-

Getting rich from internet is difficult, even making livelihood from internet is tough. Internet earning is still in nascent stages and one must explore all options before depending on them heavily.

Please feel free to ask any question regarding any topic I have covered or missed.

Not BUILDINGS but INSTRUMENTS!!!

The sciences that modern world is still learning were mastered by our fore-fathers in India.

Instrumentation which  is still considered as an evolving and nascent branch by many scholars has been there from ages and has "EVERLASTING FOOTPRINTS"...

Maharaja Jai Singh II, the Rajput ruler of Amber (Present day Jaipur) in 18th century was not satisfied with the accuracy of small instruments, he said, "koi ni lets magnify our instruments". So, he built JANTAR MANTAR.

Then came- sab instruments ke baap! (Father of all instruments)
3 main instruments are:
1. SAMRAT YANTRA
2. RAM YANTRA
3. JAI PRAKASH YANTRA

Outsourcing- The synonymous to- your “Profits”!

From ages outsourcing has been considered as the practice followed by the western world, which is partially true. But the biggest question remains unanswered, why do they do it?
The answer is- it is synonymous to your Profits.
How?
As it is evident from the definition, outsourcing means transfer of activity and consequentially the hassles involved in the work.
Outsourcing is an alternative for permanent employment. For a small and medium scale business organization Human Resource appears on the liability side of the balance sheet. There are number of conditions attached to the permanent employment that directly affects the bottom-line of your business. The costs like
  1. Establishment costs for setting up a physical business.
  2. Minimum wages for the employees
  3. Overheads on establishments from pantry to security.
  4. Maintenance costs.
  5. Statutory compliances.
  6. Medical benefits/ insurances for employees.
  7. Minimal or no conflict of interest.
Can take a serious toll on a budding organization. To counter the overheads the pricing is increased and as a result the bids are lost. Within no time a budding organization gets transformed into a doomed organization.  This is the major reason of failure of many start-up business organization in a country like India where labour cost is “Cheap”.
The very fact that labour is “cheap” in India leads us to a false conclusion that we can get it done all the work with our in-house resource. The very philosophy puts the business and business model in self destruction mode.

The benefits of outsourcing can be explained with a small illustration-
A software development program is required to be developed by a team of two engineers working for 8 hours per day for 6 days.
Case1: Two permanent employees to develop.
Case2: Two outsourced employees to develop.

Case1: Proportionate salary (1/3rd of monthly salary) of two employees for 6 working days considering a working month of 20days (Salaries should be competitive enough to disallow attrition of employees). Proportionate cost of investments of establishments with all office furniture, computers, software licenses, statutory compliances will be loaded in the bid value.
Case2: Business is outsourced. Only cost of two software developers is incurred. Depending upon the nature of business, experiences & skillsets can be selected.

The solution to the problem is simple, outsource the particular job to a third party service provider at rate already fixed. The cheap availability of manpower can now be utilized for driving profits for the business. Increased objectivity of the manpower- We mean only business, no-nonsense.

Outsourcing means Win-win for all
It is amply clear from the illustration that outsourcing means business profits but what for the workers?
It is win-win for them too.
How?
For a person with permanent employment status with a particular organization chances of growth and remunerations are fixed. One can expect hikes only in appraisals and not to mention the compromised working hours.
Also, there are other overheads that an employee has to bear for the employment. The same can include-
  1. Transportation charges for commuting to the place of work.
  2. Botheration for long working hours.
  3. Lack of flexibility in terms of working hours.
  4. Fixed remuneration.
  5. Lesser chances of immediate recognition and performance appreciations.
  6. Repetitive nature of work leading to stagnation of career.
By freelancing the services an individual can excel in their field. The remuneration can be decided and quote can be higher for challenging tasks.
This can work wonders for those striving for that extra bit of money. With non-fixed working hours an individual can work after the normal office timings.

There are many web hosts that serves as bridge between those who wants to work and those looking for workers. The work philosophies have changed and tend to change in future. Work from home seemed a distant dream till recent past but is a common practice in IT industry. If your work doesn’t need physical presence then Outsourcing is the next big thing!!!
However the only thing one has to ensure is permanent availability of freelancers and work. There are many websites like- Paid2Work etc that bridges the gap between two extremes.

Kudos!! Happy Outsourcing!
